We
feel that we should follow Jesus's example of love by taking the role of a servant. One act of service is to care
for those in need--whether hungry, thirsty, naked, sick, or alone (Matthew 25). Another is to recognize and be good
stewards of God's creation. We humbly hope to do a little of both with this event.
The Father's
Child Ministry is a 501c(3) non-profit fatih-based organization seeking to influence children to receive true hope which is
found is a relationship with Jesus Christ. Founded in 2004, the organization currently serves 36 children and 27 mothers in
the Golden Triangle area.
Proceeds from this event go to support this ministry.

event began as a project by an inspired, but slightly clueless, runner. He is therefore very grateful to his wife, Mandy,
and to all his other friends and family who got suckered or guilted into helping. You all rock!
